Climate oasis in schools
Climate oasis in schools
In 2023, we launched our Climate oasis in schools pilot program. Two lucky schools have been selected to participate – Movelle Primary School and Copperfield College Kings Park Campus.
In this program, students are participating in five workshops where they are co-designing a landscape masterplan for their school in collaboration with a landscape architect (from Pollen Studio) and a Council Officer from the Environment Department. The landscape masterplan will help them transform their school into a green and cool oasis by increasing urban greening and encouraging school community participation in sustainability programs.
Capital works funding was not offered in this program.
